Probably the last GLO Fansite news addition for 2025, I am proud to round off this year with a very unique artist/producer/individual going by the name "T the Wiser" who has some real talent.
With songs covering a range of genres, T the Wisers' style would have suited many of the GLO sub-labels. The tracks I started listening to instantly made an impression and like me, he clearly has a passion that spans many musical influences.
"T the Wiser is a rebellion against genre. Formed by Tj Schweizer in 2019, the message of his music is cultural freedom. With influences ranging over the whole musical spectrum, T the Wiser brings a unique take on the current evolution of sample-based production. By radically combining unrelated genres, he showcases his passion for radical self-expression."
TJ got in touch with the GLO Fansite and provided links to his work. Happy for a link back to him, on the condition that "I actually connect with the music" - and believe me, I most certainly did!
TJ is very passionate about his work and wants to connect authentically with people who resonate his style, which I completely understood.
From Ambient, Dance, Drum & Bass, Electronic Soul to Hiphop and Triphop, there really is something here for everyone to enjoy.
If you have an eclectic taste, you will find some absolute cracking tunes from T the Wiser. The beats, instruments and samples are well used and suit the track, whatever musical genre it is.
I have listened to the SoundCloud playlist a couple of times now and have enjoyed everything I have heard. Tracks that stood out to me are listed below, but there are too many that I really liked so I would recommend just choosing your preferred platform and listening through them all at leisure.
